On December 28, Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan G. Mammedova and Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V. Matviyenko held a telephone conversation to discuss priority issues of the interparliamentary relations.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Ataev is appointed as the Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In accordance with the ""Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025"", in order to successfully implement the tasks set for the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, as well as to ensure the safety and smooth operation of technological facilities of the complex, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries to conclude a contract with the company ""INVEST Enterprises Limited"" of the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong) and the private enterprise ""Azap"" for the reconstruction of two main power plants within 18 months at the expenses of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

On December 25, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority subjects of the state life as well as drafts of some documents have been reviewed. Heads of administrations of the regions and Ashgabat have been invited to the session.

The State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the National Library of Armenia launched cooperation on December 24.

A working meeting held at the Ministry of Finance and Economy with the head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Ashgabat focused on the urgent issues and prospects for further development of long-term cooperation.

On December 23, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session dedicated to development of cultural sphere and improvement of activity of mass media.

The Chairperson of the Mejlis took part in the first videoconference meeting, organized by the UNDP Regional Office for Europe and the CIS and the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) on December 23. The meeting agenda was the launch of the Dialogue of Women Leaders from Central Asian states.

On December 22, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held online meeting with CEO / Executive Managing Director of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Tadashi Maeda.
