The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan organized an online meeting to discuss the aspects of the global pandemic impact of on the socio-economic situation in the country, including macro and microeconomic indicators. The representatives of UN agencies and international financial organizations, accredited in our country, were invited to participate in the meeting.

The Foreign Ministry hosted regional video conference session under regional initiative of International Migration organization (IMO) for coordination of cooperation related to mitigation of negative impact of pandemic of severe infectious disease COVID-19.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov handed over military service files of his grandfather, valiant warrior and talented teacher Berdimuhamed Annayev to Berdimuhamed Annayev military school no. 1 of the Ministry of Defence.

The 23rd meeting of the Target Group on the health aspects of air pollution was held under the chair of the World Health Organization in frames of the UN Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution. The representatives of the United Nations specialized agencies accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan took part in the videoconference meeting.

The Foreign Ministry hosted online meeting with delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Representatives of the Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection, State Customs Service, State Border Guard Service and other took part in the talks from Turkmen side.

Vice-premier, Foreing Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov took part in the session of the Assembly of the Foreign Ministers of the country members of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was held in video conference format.

The Foreign Ministry hosted political consultations in video conference format between Turkmenistan and Romania, during which perspectives of intensification of beneficial cooperation in the context of realization of agreements reached on high level have been discussed.
