In order to develop national culture, to encourage the workers of culture and arts to create new works, as well as to celebrate the Day of workers of culture and art and the poetry of Magtymguly Fraghi at a worthy level, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing the relevant officials to arrange the Week of Culture in Lebap Velayat on June 22-27, 2021.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current issues of the state life have been discussed.

The Foreign Ministry held online meeting under biannual review of Turkmen – American political consultations. US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Central Asia, Public Dimplomacy and Media J. Henik took part in the meeting from American side.

Wide range of subjects of development of partnership on bilateral and multilateral base, in particular under international organizations, has been reviewed during Turkmen – Chinese foreign ministry consultations held in online format.

Regular video conference session on the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries and Afghanistan was held with participation of Special Representatives of the UN Secretary General for Central Asia, Head and personnel of RCPDCA, UN Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs, Peace Building and Peace Making Operations, EU Special Representative in Central Asia, the OSCE Director for Prevention of Conflicts as well as international experts.

Online meeting of Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with Deputy Administrator of the UNDP and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and CIS Mrs Mirjana Spoljaric Egger took place on June 11.
