For the great personal contribution to strengthening the independence of Turkmenistan, for the services in implementing large-scale programmes, improving the educational system, educating the younger generation, educating young people in the spirit of respect for the national values, historical heritage, and the provision of medical services to the population, for the successes achieved in the industrial sector, especially given the fruitful state and public activities, many years of hard work, as well as on occasion of the 28th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, authorizing:

The capital hosted the session of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The agenda of national forum included priority objectives of further development of the country, implementation of fundamental changes and reforms.

During the session of the People’s Council, Head of National Parliament Gulshat Mammedova t read out the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on award of the title of Turkmenistan «Hormatly il ýaşulusy» (Honoured Elder of the Nation) to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
