In order to further develop bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, to effectively organize consular services provided to the population, as well as in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Consular Offices of Turkmenistan Abroad”, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree on opening of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Day of Workers of Health Care and Medical Industry is to be celebrated in Turkmenistan on October 10.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Day of Workers of Construction, Energy and Municipal Services in Turkmenistan will be celebrated in country on the second Saturday of September.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority issues of the state life as well as some draft documents have been reviewed.

On August 29, 2019, the UN Special Programme for the Aral Sea Basin (UN SPAS) was presented at the headquarters of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

Turkmenistan, as a member of the United Nations, sees it as a universal international body endowed with a mandate from the international community to preserve and strengthen international peace and security and ensure the sustainable development of all states and peoples.
