President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayip Erdogan in relations with the train accident in Ankara, which caused human victims and injuries.

“From the moment of gaining the independence as well as status of permanent neutrality by Turkmenistan, which Turkey has also voted for at the United Nations general Assembly, Turkmen State made significant contribution to consolidation of regional stability and progress improving friendly relations with countries on the planet.

Celebrations on occasion of the International Neutrality Day took place all around the country with the main activities in the capital where President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has laid flowers to the Monument of Neutrality.

By the order of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis Gulshat Mammedova received the copies of credentials of the Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Turkmenistan Ihab Ahmet Talaat Nasr.

According to the Order of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Nepes Gayliyev was released from the post of the Minister of Textile Industry for serious deficiencies admitted in his work.

On December 11, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov, held talks with the delegation of the United States of America led by the US Special Representative for Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry has hosted an International Scientific Conference entitled ‘Heritage of the Silk Road and Present International Relations’, which was devoted to the 23rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality status.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of some Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of number of ministries and departments.
