The President of Turkmenistan signed an Order authorizing the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, governors of provinces and the mayor of Ashgabat to monitor the timely completion and commissioning in 2019 of relevant major industrial and social facilities and installations, and to ensure their high quality. The Ministry of Construction and Architecture is authorized to strengthen control over the quality of the said facilities and installations; to determine facilities and installations to be commissioned every month in accordance with the approved timeline; and to ensure they are included in the program of events and opening ceremonies of social and cultural facilities. According to the document, the Ministry of Finance and Economy is authorized to draw up, together with provincial administrations and the Ashgabat City Council, monthly progress reports for the said facilities and installations in accordance with the agreed timeline, and to submit these reports to the relevant Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers.
