President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the greetings to the participants of International transport forum. “Let me extend my congratulations on the start of work of International Conference of the Ministers of Transport of the country members of the Agreement on Transport and Transit Cooperation (Lapis Lazuli) in Avaza National tourist zone, - the message says.

The delegation of Turkmenistan chaired by Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov made working trip to Brussel where took part in regular European Union – central Asia meeting on the level of the foreign ministers.

For efficient cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United National Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO), the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned the Minister of Foreign Affairs to hold International ministerial conference “Importance of the Silk Road: Present and Future Development” in Ashgabat on December 6 – 7, 2018. Turkmen side together with the UNESCO representatives take coordinated measures for its successful organization.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned the Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to hold the II International High-level Conference on prevention and combating of non-infectious diseases in Ashgabat on April 10, 2019.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of some ministries and departments.

Speaking of the commitment of Turkmenistan to European vector of its foreign policy, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov notes that significant potential of our country allows providing the implementation of large-scale international projects meeting the interests of all participating sides.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where implementation of national programmes of social and economic development and other topical issues of the state life have been reviewed.

The President of Turkmenistan signed an Order prescribing ministries and sectoral agencies of the transport and communications field and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convene and ensure the high standards for hosting an international transport conference in Avaza National Tourist Zone on 28 November.

The Conference Hall of the capital’s Yyldyz Hotel hosted a round table dedicated to the aspects of integration of national minorities into all spheres of public life. The meeting was attended by the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Lamberto Zannier, the Head of the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat, Natalya Drozd, advisers to the OSCE High Commissioner, Bob Deen, Andrei Khanzhin and Elzbieta Kuzborska, representatives of ministries and government agencies of Turkmenistan, the country’s public organizations, mass media etc.
