President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of certain vice-premiers and Hyakim of Ashgabat. Key issues of social and economic development of the country, preparation to remarkable events as well as other priority objectives have been reviewed at the session.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his discontent with the work of the State Concern Turkmenhimiya during video conference working session on November 5. Having mentioned great importance of potassium production at Garlyk Complex for national economy, the Head of the State ordered to provide efficient work of this facility. It has been more than a year since Garlyk Potassium Fertilizers Mining Complex was opened, however, the work of this industrial giant has not been brought up to design output and there is no any proposals from the management to correct the situation.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where fulfilment of the programmes of social and economic development of Turkmenistan as well as priority objectives of the state policy have been reviewed.

The Intergovernmental Turkmen-Afghan commission on the economic cooperation held the 7th session in Ashgabat. Acting Minister of Finance of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Humayun Qayumi headed the IRA delegation, including the heads and specialists of the relevant ministries and departments.

As is known, at the V Summit of the Heads of Caspian States, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed the initiative on the VI Caspian Summit in Turkmenistan and the first Caspian Economic Forum in 2019, which were unanimously supported by all heads of the region.

Vice-premier M. Chakiyev reported on the outcomes of working trip of Turkmenistan delegation to the Republic of Azerbaijan at the session of the Government on November 2.

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the State Security Council where reports of the heads of military and law enforcement agencies on the outcomes of work for 10 months of the year have been presented.
