In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Halbaev Dovran Dovletovich is appointed as the Chairman of the Financial Control Service under the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Few days ago, the delegation of our country paid visit to Brussels where it had number of meetings including with Deputy Chairman of European Energy Union Commission Maroš Šefčovič as well as working meeting with representatives of the General Energy Department of the European Commission and other. Vice-premier M. Meredov reported on the outcomes of the visit to the Head of the State at the video conference session on October 22.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working video conference session with the participation of the Speaker of the Mejlis, number of Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and Hyakim of Ashgabat. Priority objectives of social and economic development of the country and other important matters of the state life have been reviewed.

Regular third session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation was held, during which number of laws and regulatory and legal acts developed in accordance with priorities of the state policy, new edition of the Constitution and integrated programme of modernization of legal framework of the country have been adopted. Representatives of relevant ministries and departments as well as mass media have been invited to participate in the session.

On the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, Chairperson of the Mejlis G. Mammedova received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Turkmenistan Ismail Rifai.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the National Committee on hydrometeorology under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the State Enterprise on the Caspian Sea under the President of Turkmenistan to hold the 23d session of the Coordination Committee on hydrometeorology and the Caspian Sea pollution control (KASPKOM) with the participation of the relevant delegations of the Caspian littoral states.

The preparation to coming working visit of Turkmenistan delegation to Japan is carried out. The programme of the visit includes the session of Turkmen – Japanese Committee for economic cooperation and joint business forum.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution “On the contest among the workers of literature, culture and arts, amateur young singers and gifted children for the Turkmenistan President’s «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» award”. In accordance with the Resolution, the citizens of foreign countries can participate in the contest. The winners will be decided based on the established nominations. Young amateur singers will participate in a TV contest «Ýaňlan, Diýarym!» and gifted children - in «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri» contest.

With the aim to further develop cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, approving the membership of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Tajik Commission for trade, economy, scientific and technological cooperation for Turkmenistan.

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed at the session of the Government on October 19 that Turkmenistan delegation had working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan where it had the meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Having conveyed the greetings to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Leader of Uzbekistan confirmed the commitment of his country to friendly relations with Turkmenistan. At the same time, special attention has been paid to the work for practical implementation of the agreements achieved during the state visit of Turkmen leader to the Republic of Uzbekistan in april this year.
