President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received credentials from newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Jandos Asanov.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council where the fulfilment of the Presidential Programme in social and economic development of the country and other national programmes has been reviewed and topical issues of internal policy have been discussed.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the transport regulations and dangerous goods list allowed for transportation in Turkmenistan.

In order to effectively use the opportunities of the international transport and transit corridors, increase the competitiveness of the transport complex, increase the volume of transit cargo, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution authorizing the founders to participate in the open joint-stock company “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” with a share in the charter capital:

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Begench Charyev is appointed as the Chairman of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Ishanov Amandurdy Bekdurdyevich is released from the position as the Chairman of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan and is appointed as the Minister of Trade and Foreign-Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.

The Khyakim of Badghis Province of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan addressed the letter to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. On behalf of the people in the region, the Khyakim expressed sincere gratitude to the Turkmen leader for commissioning the Rabat-Kashan - Kalay-Nau transmission line.

At the session of the Government on July 31, the Vice-premier, Foreign Minister R. Meredov reported in the preparation to important international events planned in nearest months. It includes the V Summit of Caspian States in Aktau (the Republic of Kazakhstan), which will be forestalled by the number of five-sided meetings of different levels. It is planned to hold the Summit of the heads of the states, the founders of the International Fund for Saving Aral Sea (IFAS), which is chaired by Turkmenistan at present.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a video-conference meeting with the khyakims of regions and Ashgabat.
