President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a Decree on the discharge of members of the regular armed and other forces and their transfer to the reserve forces, and on the autumn draft. In accordance with the Decree, servicemen, doing compulsory military service, will be transferred to the reserve (upon completion of the term of service established by the law) in October-December 2018. Citizens of Turkmenistan at the age of 18 and older citizens, who have lost the right of deferment, will be called up for military service in October-December 2018.
