President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where issues of home and foreign policy have been discussed. Speaking of the importance of the subjects of the agenda of the current meeting, the Head of the State focused on coming events related with the Day of Turkmen Horse and opening of Turkmenbashy International Seaport.

On April 12 -13, the delegation of the Mejlis took part in the 47th session of Inter-Parliament Assembly of the CIS countries held in Saint Petersburg (the Russian Federation). Under the visit, the delegation had meeting with the leaders of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Inter-Parliament Assembly on April 12. On April 13, the delegation took part in the plenary session of Inter-Parliament Assembly of the CIS members. During the session, the speeches on the subject “Intercultural dialog of the Commonwealth countries: Current condition, future and legal provision” have been made. This information was presented by Speaker of the Mejlis Gulshat Mammedova at the session of the Government on April 20.

The President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, sent his heartfelt felicitations to Miguel Díaz-Canel upon his election to the post of the President of the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba.

By the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis gulshat Mammedova received the credentials of Mohammed Sharif Anis, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialistic Republic of Sri Lanka to Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising the spheres of transport and communication, the Minister of Agriculture and Water Management, hyakims of the regions and Ashgabat.
