President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which summed up the work of the branches over the past four months, and considered topical issues of state life. Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, hakims of velayats, cities and etraps, rectors of universities, heads of the media and other organizations were invited to participate in the meeting.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers. As noted by the head of state, the results of works conducted in the past four months show that, despite the existing problems and several difficulties related to the state of the global economy, we managed to maintain the high growth rates in all sectors of the economy.

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his personal behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov addressed sincere congratulations to Moon Jae Inu in view of his election as the President of the Republic of Korea.

Offering his congratulations to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and the entire nation on the commonly celebrated holiday – Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin expressed a conviction that the unprecedented feat of our fathers and grandfathers, their heroism, courage, patriotism, fraternal support and mutual assistance will always serve as guiding principles for young people.

1941 – 1945 entered the history as most tragic, hard and troubled period of the XX century, which caused irreplaceable harm to peaceful life and values of the civilization, world’s economy and culture, - the message says.

President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain sent the letter to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov in which on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan he expressed his sincere and best regards on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution and approved the decision adopted during the session of the Board of the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Turkmenistan on appointment of Babagylych Esenovich Gylyjov as the Board Chairman of the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Turkmenistan.

For further developemtn of the partnership between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving Turkmen composition of Intergovernmental Turkmen – Afghan Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
