Thousands of Turkmenistan citizens defending Motherland fought bravely and revealed true heroism in the battles with fascism in the most cruel and sanguinary war of XX century – the Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945. The feat of our heroes is immortal. Our compatriots, who were in the home front, worked untiringly to bring long-awaited Victory closer. We pay high tribute to the memory of the heroes killed in the battlefields and honour the veterans and selfless workers of the home front who are alive, - the Head of the State highlighted.

The issues of preparation for participation in the International Specialized Exhibition Expo-2017, to be held from June 10 to September 10 in Astana, were discussed at a meeting of a Cabinet of Ministers on May 5.
