Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan came out with unified positions on key issues of the global agenda. This was stated in Astana by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a state visit in Kazakhstan.

The Akorda Palace of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted official reception ceremony of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who arrived in Astana on the state vist.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived with two-days satte visit in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan’s government officials and members of the state delegation of our country met Turkmen leader in Astana International Airport.

On April 18, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov will begin his state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, undertaken by the Turkmen leader at the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Foreign Affairs Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The Head of the State noted in the message addressed to the personnel of the service on occasion of the 14th anniversary of the foundation of the State Migration Service that key provisions of the Military doctrine of Turkmenistan are aimed at protection of national interests, consolidation of international stability, development of friendly, open relations with all countries.

For improvement of fine arts and in accordance with the Law “On National Fine Arts of Turkmenistan”, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on establishment of the expert group for national fine arts under the Ministry of Culture and approved its composition and Provisions on this group and on the National master of fine arts.

Ashgabat has hosted the regular session of the organizing committee for organization of international actions connected with the chairmanship of Turkmenistan for 2017 at the Energy Charter Conference.

Minsk will host the eighth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Belarusian Commission for economic cooperation. Today, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov appointed the commission on the Turkmen part by his Resolution.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which considered topical issues of state life and drafts of several documents.
