On April 18-19, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov will pay a state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. At a government session, Cabinet Deputy Chairman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov informed about preparations for the visit of the head of state in Astana.

Issues of socio-economic development, seasonal agricultural work, preparation for significant dates were considered during the working meeting held by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on the direct video link with participation of khyakims of velayats and the capital.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of LDPR faction in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation expressed great appreciation in his letter addressed to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the warm welcome.

According to the Resolution of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Guychgeldy Baygeldiyev is appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmenneft”. Deputy Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengaz” Myrat Archayev is appointed as the Acting State Minister, the Chairman of the above-mentioned Concern.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Turkmenistan Diego Ungaro.

The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky has sent a message to President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to express his profound gratitude for the warm reception given to the LDPR delegation in Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conveyed his deep sympathies to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdul Fattah al-Sisi on the occasion of terrorist attacks in the Coptic churches in the cities of Tanta and Alexandria entailing numerous human losses and injuries.
