International conference “Foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan: cooperation for peace and progress”, dedicated to the Day of Diplomatic Workers and the State Flag Day of Turkmenistan was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the official inauguration ceremony, held in the capital’s Ruhyet Palace, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov delivered an inaugural speech and identified tasks for a new stage of the country’s development.

After inauguration ceremony of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the head of foreign policy department of Turkmenistan held the meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to our country and ambassadors of Turkmenistan abroad.

Upon completion of the inauguration ceremony at Ruhyyet Palace, the motorcade of the President of Turkmenistan, accompanied by the motorcycle escort which was replaced by the cavalry further along the route, proceeded to the Oguzhan Palace Complex. The cavalrymen carried the State Flag and the Presidential Standard of Turkmenistan.

Ceremonial inauguration of re-elected President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took place in Ruhiyet Palace. Having assumed the position, the Head of the State spoke to the participants and outlined main provisions of internal and foreign policy of the country for the next seven years.

Speaking during the ceremony of inauguration ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of enhancing the role of the Elders’ Council in the life of the state. Thus, the next session of the Elders’ Council to be held in Ahal Velayat this year will focus on the legislative amendments to the Provision on the Elders’ Council to enhance its importance, which will be further considered by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke of this today at the solemn inaugural ceremony at Ruhyyet Palace where he outlined the priorities and key tasks of social and economic development and foreign policy of Turkmenistan.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Ruhiyet Palace, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused the attention of the Government on support of the family institute and provision of social and living conditions.

Speaking at the solemn inaugural ceremony at Ruhyyet Palace after having taken office, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov defined the country’s development strategy and outlined the priorities of social policy.

Speaking in Ruhiyet Palace, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov outlined priorities of national economy and defined the steps for making of the country a leading industrially developed state.
