On May 2, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme-Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular session of the State Security Council to consider this year’s four-month outcomes of the work of military and law enforcement bodies, as well as a number of issues concerning further strengthening of peace and security in the country, upgrading the security agencies’ material-technical base, and some other issues.

On May 1, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey Taner Yıldız, who had arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the quadrilateral meeting, devoted to the topical issues of cooperation in the energy sector, and prospects for the implementation of new infrastructure projects.

On May 1, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Natig Agaami ogly Aliyev, who had arrived in Ashgabat to take part in a quadrilateral meeting on cooperation in the strategic oil and gas sector.

On April 30, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Vice President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič, who had arrived in our country.

On April 17, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the present-day tasks of branches of the national economy, the steps to be taken to ensure its further progressive development and other topical issues of state life, as well as to adopt some important documents.

On April 16, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a working video-selector meeting with participation of khyakims of velayats and some Cabinet Deputies Chairman.

On April 15, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov made a working trip through the capital to visit the Motor Sport Center and become acquainted with the state of affairs at a number of buildings under construction in Ashgabat.
