President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the celebration of the upcoming New Year organized at Mizan Business Center

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the Concept of improving the teaching of foreign languages, as well as a plan of actions for its implementation.

At the meeting of the government, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions on ensuring on public holidays the clear work of public services, medical institutions, trade enterprises, public transport, and the uninterrupted functioning of energy and water supply systems.

Early morning, the vehicle of the Head of the State arrived in the square in front of the capital park 10 year of Independence where flowers-laying ceremony to the monument of Saparmurat Niyazov took place.

As organizers of the forum which took place at the National Institute of Sports and Tourism, acted the State Sports Committee together with Ministry of Health and Medical Industry. Heads and representatives of sectoral establishments, higher educational institutions, public organisations and the mass media took part in the meeting.

In the educational system of modern Turkmenistan, advanced approaches to learning foreign languages are being introduced at all levels of education; and methods of teaching are being improved.

In Ashgabat the 2nd congress of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on the agenda of which reports on the work of the head of the central council of the party and the chairman of the revision committee and also organizational issues included, took place.

The main New Year tree of the country switched on the lights, having announced on the arrival of New Year, long awaited and the most favourite holiday.

The UN House in Ashgabat has hosted a presentation on the UNICEF’s State of the World’s Children 2017: Children in a Digital World Report.

In the conference hall of the State Migration Service, it was held a solemn ceremony of handing passports to persons being admitted to the citizenship of Turkmenistan according to the Ukase of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This event demonstrated the continued commitment of our country to standards of international law, being another example of the viable solution of the migration policy issues.
