The initiative on the establishment of a central veterinary clinic that may become a foundation of an animal welfare organisation was put forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and supported by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, an active partner of the government of the country in the economic and social projects.

The seminar for journalists on the subject of Climate Change and Pastures in Turkmenistan, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and natural Protection of our country together with the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ), has started in the Yildyz hotel of the capital.

The projects of construction of modern living estates in Charjev, Sayat, Khalach and Kerky etraps of Lebap Velayat were presented to the Head of the State for review during video conference session on February 25.

The meeting with Rector of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies Nicolae Istudor and Pro-rector Constantin Marius Profiroiu at the Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management focused on the prospects for widening the bilateral partnership in the academic sphere.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the works I the northern part of the capital for construction of residential houses for personnel of the Ministry of Interior of the country, conditions for new tenants in new buildings. After the inspection, the Head of the State visited the Centre of Motor Sports of the Ministry of Interior.

Registration of candidates and their meeting with electorate are actively continued in some districts under the work for preparation to organized elections of the Mejlis deputies and members of the People’s Councils of velayats, etraps, cities and Gengeshys planned on March 31, 2019.

The opening ceremony of two residential apartment buildings was held in administrative centre of Dashoguz Velayat. 40 families have celebrated house-warming parties in new buildings.

Thanks to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s close attention, efforts are being made in Turkmenistan to encourage civic, private and business initiative. Calling his compatriots for a conscious and responsible attitude, the head of state constantly stresses that tender care and love for nature and animals is at the core of the Turkmen nation’s mentality.

Modernization processes in all spheres in Turkmenistan cover the system of high education as well. This is the sphere that has to become the main one for development of science and technologies in the country, promotion of innovations, formation of digital economy and knowledge society, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov states.
