People of Bugdaily village, Esenguly etrap received a wonderful gift for the upcoming national spring holiday. A modern sport and recreation complex, erected within the framework of “The National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on improving social conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap towns and etrap centers till 2020”, was inaugurated here. The main feature of the new building is its versatility. Spacious gyms are equipped with exercise machines, tools, sports facilities, where one can engage in basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, tennis, boxing, various types of wrestling, sports competitions at any time of the year. Changing rooms, showers resting spaces, rooms for coaches and judges are at young athletes’ disposal. The landscaped space also comprises outdoor sports grounds, particularly for football games. Opening of the complex caused the great holiday, which was attended by residents of the village and numerous guests. On this occasion celebrities, musical and dance bands prepared a grand concert. Young athletes demonstrated their skills. The most distinguished builders were awarded valuable gifts. Addressing the ceremony, the participants noted that the development of sport and mass health and fitness movement is a priority direction of the state policy of Turkmenistan. Both in the capital and in velayats, a lot of work is being done in this sphere – sports complexes, stadiums and other specialized facilities are being put into operation one after the other.
