The past week was marked with the International Exhibition of Furniture and Household Goods in the Turkmen capital. The specialized showcase of achievements of the local and world furniture industries attracted about 70 exhibitors, who presented the latest tendencies and styles in this business to visitors. Attracted by the opportunity to widen economic partnership, representatives of 30 large companies from Germany, Russia, China, Japan, Italy, Korea, Turkey, India, Iran and Belarus had arrived to participate in the exhibition with their proposals in the field of home and office interior design. Modern furniture, which can satisfy the tastes of the most exacting customers presented by enterprises “Aýbölek mebel”, “Abraýlý önum”, “Ryzgal”, “Çinarmebel”, “Çigildem mattress”, “Aýsenem”, “Naýbaşy”, “Nagyş”, “Iňňe” and others made up the major part of the large exposition in the capital’s “Sergi köşgi” Expo Center. Diplomas and prizes awarded to “Aýbölek mebel” Economic Society, including the prize given to the enterprise at the international exhibition in Las Vegas in 2014, attest to the recognition of high consumer qualities of the goods produced by Turkmen furniture manufacturers. Upholstered and cabinet furniture for home and office, bedroom and living room furniture sets ranging from strict classic style to refined designer solutions, salon furniture, functional sets for nurseries, study rooms, and kitchens attracted visitors to large exhibition pavilions placed along the entire perimeter of the exhibition hall. Decorative materials with application of picturesque national motifs and ornaments were of special interest. The exhibition also gave a chance to visitors to become acquainted with wonderful samples of furniture and furniture accessories of global name brands designed for rooms in fashionable hotels and various offices. De-lux class furniture “Аdore”, “Epika”, “Camelgroup”, “Loriginale”, “Moretticompact”, (Italy), as well as luxurious furniture suites of “Hosen” (China), “Pink drew” (Belarus) were on display. A large package of proposals in the world of furniture and furnishing was presented in the pavilion of the Turkish company - “Istikbal”. A collection of precious lamps, candlesticks, and tableware gilded and inlaid by masters of Italian school were the pride of the Ashgabat exhibition. The collection of gift articles “I Biagi”, “Loriginale”, “Depos”, “Nello Gigli”,“Villari” was displayed by “Serpay” - a trade partner in Turkmenistan. The exposition also included stands of private companies and firms specializing in such important for home improvement areas as delivery of high-quality household and electrical appliances, computer equipment, television sets, and fixed location phones, video surveillance systems and others. Exclusive samples of decorative and applied art in the best national traditions of the Turkmen people became an organic part of the exhibition. Thus, the International Exhibition of Furniture and Household Goods was successfully held, having showcased the considerable achievements and potential of our country’s economy in this sector. It served as a springboard to attract potential customers and partners and offered the opportunity to outline the ways for further fruitful interaction, having given a new impulse to it.
