A sudden check of the National Army's combat readiness, conducted on May 3 by order of the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, once again demonstrated excellent training of personnel of all combat arms and military units. The heirs of the military traditions of the Turkmen people, the brave defenders of the Motherland, who have advanced military equipment and high-precision special equipment today, have once again proved themselves to be a powerful, indestructible and consolidated force guarding the peaceful life of their compatriots. On the eve of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, these exercises have become a vivid proof that today a new generation of soldiers, who faithfully cherish the covenants of their ancestors, cherish the tranquility and inviolability of the Turkmen land, honorably fulfills their duty, mastering all the wisdom of military science and the newest technologies in this responsible and honorable issue - to serve as a reliable shield of the Motherland. The military doctrine of our country, based on the principles of the neutral status of Turkmenistan, is exclusively defensive in character, includes the constant modernization of the material and technical base of the National Army, the strengthening of its personnel and the level of combat training of Turkmen soldiers. One of the key outcomes of the current military tactical exercises held under the direct leadership of the Head of the state with testing the efficiency, mobility, skill of the army is guaranteed assurance of the country's defense capability, which means that the peace and well-being of all its citizens, each family and the right of every child for a happy childhood under the peaceful sky of the Motherland.
