Turkmenistan to mark the World Environment Day

International scientific and practical conference and series of educational events are timed to International Environment Day on June 5. Ecological issues are the priorities of the state policy of Turkmenistan. Large-scale projects, which are to protect the beauty of unique Turkmen nature and to provide rational use of its treasuries are realized in this sphere. These are the measures for protection of biodiversity and natural landscapes, realization of water management projects and large-scale tree planting programme. Our country makes considerable contribution in solution of environmental issues under international conventions and agreements and actively cooperates with numerous international structures in this field.
