President of Turkmenistan has signed a Decree to hold a Culture Week in Balkan velayat on June 22-27, 2019. The Decree states that the Culture Week aims to develop national culture, music, performing arts, cinematography, fine arts, television, radio, to promote cultural institutions, publishing and printing facilities, and to encourage creative professionals to produce works of art, and to mark Cultural Workers, Artists and Magtymguly Fragi’s Poetry Day. The document establishes the Organizing Committee and determines its composition. The Ministry of Culture, State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan, State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan and Balkan velayat khyakim are authorized to organize a diverse variety of cultural and art events to celebrate all the arts, and to give them wide media coverage.
