President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on Granting of Turkmenistan Citizenship, according to which 735 people, which represent various nationalities who live permanently in Turkmenistan and do not have any citizenship, became the citizens of the country. According to the document, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior and the State Migration service together with other relevant ministries and departments are assigned to continue the work on registration of the documents of stateless people who applied for Turkmenistan citizenship with further proposals to the President of Turkmenistan.
