On the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, Chairperson of the Mejlis G. Mammedova received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Turkmenistan Ismail Rifai. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairperson of the National Parliament congratulated the guest on the appointment as the head of the diplomatic mission in our country, wished him success in developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Jordan. Thanking for the kind wishes, the diplomat conveyed the greetings and the best wishes to the President of Turkmenistan and Turkmen people on behalf of the leaders of his country. According to the diplomat, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan highly evaluates the active peace-loving policy, pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, the important international initiatives, put forward by the leader of the Turkmen state with the aim to enhance the foundations of stability and sustainable development, to address the global transport, energy and environmental tasks on the modern world. During the meeting, the Ambassador was informed on the priorities of the foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan, the social and economic changes, as well as ambitious projects and programmes. In this context, it was underlined the active position of our country to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The diplomat got acquainted with the structure and the work of the Turkmen Parliament. In conclusion of the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Turkmenistan Ismail Rifai emphasized that Jordan was interested in developing the interstate relations with our country in the bilateral format and in the framework of the authoritative international organizations. * * * The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Turkmenistan was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan to discuss the issues of cooperation between the friendly states.
