Heads of delegations make interventions at International transport forum in Avaza

Heads of the delegation made interventions at International Ministerial Conference of country members of the Lapis Lazuli Agreement on Transit and Transport in Avaza. Vice-premier of Turkmen Government Mammethan Chakiyev noted in his speech that while developing transport infrastructure and establishing big logistic centres, our country actively integrates to the system of world economic relations. Coordination of multimodal cargo transportation becomes one of the conditions of efficient international cooperation today. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yagub Eiyubov highlighted that current conference is very important in the conditions of the transit to innovative way of development as the achievements in transport sphere are one of important factors of economic progress, improvement of international trade relations, entrepreneurship activity and efficient use of natural resources. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Achilbay Ramatov noted that activation of transport cooperation between our countries supports active involvement of the region to the world trade, diversification of existing transport corridors and formation of new routes providing the entry to international markets and growth of trade turnover. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Cahit Turhan highlighted the significance of multimodal corridor Lapis Lazuli for economic growth f participating countries. Turkish guest has also noted the importance of advanced infrastructure of Turkmenbashy International Seaport for activation of transport communication in the region. Minister of Transport of Afghanistan Muhammad Hamid Tahmasi said in his speech that implementation of Lapis Lazuli Agreement would support the integration of Afghanistan to the world economic space. He has also noted huge contribution of Turkmenistan to the stabilization of the situation in his country. Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Akakiy Sagirishvili focused that implementation of Lapis Lazuli Agreement would allow diversifying transit and transport potential of participating countries.
