For improvement of the role of the Academy of Science in the economy of Turkmenistan, provision of competiveness of scientific achievements, development of activity of scientific and research organizations on integrated basis, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, according to which the financing from the State budget would be ceased within three years together with gradual dividing of scientific and research organizations of the Academy of Sciences into divisions. The document assigns the Academy of Sciences together with the Ministry of Justice to prepare and present the proposals on amendments and addendums of the legislation of the country following from this Resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers within two months.
