2019 Contest for Turkmenistan’s Best Disctrict Announced

The President of Turkmenistan signed an Order announcing the contest between provincial districts and towns with district status for achieving the best results in social, economic and cultural spheres in 2019. According to the document, the committee was established to determine the best provincial district or town with district status – the winner of the contest for the best results in all spheres following the outcomes of 2019. The membership of the committee was also approved. The committee was authorized to determine the district or the town with district status that will have achieved the best results in every province, and then choose the nationwide contest winner among them. The document prescribes the money prize of 1 million US dollars that will be awarded to the administration of the district or the town with district status that will have won the nationwide contest.
