Prices and tariffs on important goods and services to be regulated by the State

For further continuation of marketing relations in national economy, further improvement of price formation and social protection of consumers, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution according to which prices (tariffs) on important goods, production, works and services of production and technical purpose and social importance are subject to be regulated by the state. The document also provides: List of goods, production, works and services for local market, prices (tariffs) on which are set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan; List of goods, production, works and services for local market, prices (tariffs) on which are set by the Ministry of Finances and Economy in coordination with the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. The Ministry of Finances and Economy together with the Ministry of Justice are to prepare and present the proposals on amendments and addendums of the legislation following from this Resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers within two month.
