The official welcoming ceremony of the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who arrived in Turkmenistan on the state visit, took place in Ashgabat. In the morning, the cortege of the distinguished guest, accompanied by the motorcycle escort of honour, headed to the Oguzkhan Palace Complex. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov cordially welcomed the King of Bahrain at the central entrance to the complex. Greeting each other, the leaders of the two states headed to the Oguzkhan Hall, where the official ceremony of welcoming the high guest took place. The commander of the Guard of Honour reported to the President of Turkmenistan and the State anthems of the two countries were performed. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa walked past the Guard of Honour. The members of the official delegation of Turkmenistan as well as the leaders of the diplomatic corps accredited in our country were introduced to the King of Bahrain. In turn, King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa introduced the members of the government delegation of his country to the President of Turkmenistan. After the official photographing ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan and the King of Bahrain headed to the Hall of bilateral meetings to hold the one-on-one top-level talks.
