Talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the King of Bahrein Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, who arrived in our country on the state visit, to be held in Ashgabat on March 18. King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa was bet by Turkmen officials in the International Airport of the capital decorated with the State Flags of two countries. The Guard of Honour was lined up along the carpet from the plane gangway. According to the tradition, the King of Bahrein was offered with bread and salt and presented with flowers. From the airport, the motorcade of the king of Bahrein escorted by motorcycle guards proceeded to the residence in fashionable hotel of Oguzkent. It is worth to highlight that both sides pays special attention to coming high-level meeting. The first Turkmen – Bahrein business forum, for which delegation of representative of the Government structures, financial institutes, educational facilities as well as leading companies specialized in trade, gas, oil, chemical, textile industry, telecommunications, tourism and other spheres has come to Ashgabat, was timed to the state visit. Increased interest of business circles form Arab world to our country is provided by rapid growth of the economy of Turkmenistan, which is confirmed by competent international financial structures. It is expected that exchange of the visions of the main aspects of interstate dialog as well as current issues of regional and international politics would take place at coming meeting. Expansion of business relations including in trade and economic, financial and investment spheres, fuel and energy sector will be the subject of interesting discussion. Great perspective of beneficial partnership are present in such spheres as oil refinery, petrochemical industry, power energy, chemical and textile industry, maritime transport, tourism industry, sport and other. It is planned to sign considerable number of bilateral documents by the outcomes of the talks, which will be an important measure for intensification of Turkmen – Bahrein cooperation.
