President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhenish Razakov, who arrived in Ashgabat to attend the meeting of the Council of the CIA Heads of Government. Expressing gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guest conveyed warm greetings from President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov to the President of Turkmenistan. As was emphasized, the Kyrgyzstan attached great importance to expanding fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan, taking into account the existing potential and prospects. It was noted that Kyrgyzstan highly appreciated the international initiatives of our country that meet the goals of universal well-being. Thanking for the kind words, the Turkmen leader expressed satisfaction with the constructive nature of the political dialogue established between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, successfully interacting on the world stage in the framework of the UN, OSCE, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea and other authoritative structures. Addressing the greetings to the President of Kyrgyzstan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that one of the main vectors of the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan was strengthening and expanding the fruitful dialogue with neighboring countries in the region, including Kyrgyzstan. Exchanging views on the status and prospects of cooperation, the head of Turkmenistan and his guest paid special attention to the agreements, achieved earlier, including during the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov to our country last year. It was underlined the role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation, the importance of business meetings, aimed at establishing and enhancing productive contacts, including between business circles, for diversifying mutual trade turnover. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan invited Kyrgyz partners to take part in the events of the upcoming First Caspian Economic Forum, as well as the exhibition, which will be organized as part of the forum. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the fuel, energy and industrial sectors, in agriculture and textile production, in the transport and communications sector. The Turkmen leader and his guest called for enhancing fruitful relations in humanitarian area. The President of Turkmenistan and his guest addressed the best wishes of peace, prosperity and wellbeing to the peoples of the two states. Head of the International Cooperation Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Aidarbekov attended the meeting.
