By the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who previously occupied the position of the Deputy Hyakim of Ahal Velayat, was appointed as the Hyakim of Ahal Velayat. Previous Head of Ahal region Shokhrat Amangeldiyev was released from the duties due to the transfer to another post.
