According to the President, Turkmenistan has carried out ambitious work to efficiently manage the potential of the health care system, its orientation towards innovative directions. All necessary conditions are created in the country to protect health, to extend life expectancy, develop medical science, popularize physical culture and health life style. Specialized health centres are built in the Turkmen capital and all regions of the country. In the first years of independence, we launched an ambitious work aimed at the fundamental transformation of the health care system and its improvement based on international experience. Having adopted the State Health Programme in 1995, we defined the long-term development strategy, goals and objectives of the national health sector. As a result of the phased implementation of this programme, over the past 24 years, an effective public health system has been formed. “In terms of ensuring health and well-being at the global level, achieving harmonious human development, environmental protection, modernization of the health care system, our country supports the overall strategy of WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, successfully implementing joint projects and programms, and puts forward important initiatives. “As a result of the mutually beneficial exchange of experience with the developed countries of the world, the advanced methods of preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases are being effectively introduced into the health care system that allows significantly improve the quality of medical services. “A strong base of the digital health care system has been created, telemedicine service is being established. Stadiums, large sports complexes and parks have been built in Ashgabat, in the velayat and etrap centers, large-scale work is carried out to assert the principles of a healthy lifestyle and ensure environmental well-being. All this indicates that our main goal is to ensure a happy life of a person. “Within the framework of the international exhibition and scientific conference, you will visit the International Health Centres, modern secondary and higher education institutions, scientific and clinical centres to learn more about their work”, said the President of Turkmenistan. The President of Turkmenistan addressed all participants of the exhibition and conference good health, longevity, happiness and scientific discoveries and success in their noble work to protect the people’s health.
