In her message to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Ursula von der Leyen expressed gratitude for the extended congratulations on her election as the President of the European Commission. “Many global challenges that we face today more than ever in modern history have an effect on the ties, binding our international relations. In the course of the term of office, I would like Europe to strengthen the concept of responsible approach to these global processes. “I hope to make contribution to close cooperation between the European Union and Turkmenistan”, says President of the European Commission in her message.
