In run up to the national holiday – Galla Bairamy, the shopping center of the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union of Turkmenistan (IEUT) hosted a thematic exhibition – “Rysgal başy bugdaýdyr”, glorifying the boundless fertility of the native land. The exhibition, which demonstrated a wide range of grain and bakery products produced by local business structures, was co-organized by the IEUT, the Central Councils of the Women’s Union and the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan. Among the exponents were numerous departments of the “Turkmengallaonumleri” State Association, “Hasar”, “Misgyar”, “Degirmen”, “Tomus” Economic Societies, “Aily gije”, “Shyhatdar,” “Shekerli” cafeterias, private entrepreneurs, and others. Many varieties of the traditional national bread – kulche, petir, yagly chorek, etli chorek, suitli chorek, were on display. Next to them were the loaves of white, rye, “Borodinsky”, bran and other kinds of bread; pyramids of pishme, golden and crisp pastries – pies, buns with different fillings, were pleasing to the eye. Master-bakers shared their best recipes with the visitors. A separate section of the exposition was dedicated to the packaged bread products. The festive exhibition showcased the ever-growing potential of Turkmen industrialists and entrepreneurs in production of bakery products with the use of both traditional and modern baking technologies.
