The Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre hosted the presentation of new work of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «Türkmen alabaýy» (Turkmen Alabay). Heads of ministries and departments, cultural and art personnel, public and mass media representatives took part in the event. Thematic exposition of painting and decorative applied art has been expanded in the hall of the Mukams Palace. The book section presented the works of the Head of the state with new «Türkmen alabaýy» in the central place. Representative of cultural sphere noted the importance of new work of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in popularization of historical and cultural heritage of Turkmen nation in their speeches. The book dedicated to alabay contains interesting facts about the merits of the breed, historical data, archaeological and ethnographic information as well as interpretation of the image of alabay in folklore. It was highlighted that new work of the Head of the State, which continues cycle of dedications to rich national heritage of Turkmen people and addressed to wide reading audience, was an excellent present to compatriots for the Independence Day. Rime release of song “Turkmen alabay” put on the lyrics of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was held during the ceremony. The video about representatives of unique breed of dogs has also been demonstrated. The atmosphere of the celebration was highlighted by performance of famous singers and dance groups.
