President of Turkmenistan signs the Decree on granting citizenship of Turkmenistan

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on granting citizenship to 863 people, residing in our country. According to the document, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Migration Service, together with other relevant ministries and departments, are instructed to continue working on the official registration of papers for stateless persons, wishing to become citizens of Turkmenistan and submit the relevant proposals to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration. Vice Prime Minister, FMinister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, R. Meredov and Secretary of the State Security Council, Y. Berdiev were instructed to issue passports to the new citizens of Turkmenistan within a month. The khyakim of the regions were instructed to organize the solemn ceremony of granting the passports to the new citizens of Turkmenistan, if necessary, to provide assistance with employment and the acquisition of housing.
