Last week, 16 transactions were registered at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Business people of Hong Kong and Afghanistan purchased for foreign currency the aviation kerosene made at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex, and diesel fuel produced at the Seidi Oil Refinery. Representatives of business circles of the United Arab Emirates contracted technical iodine (SC “Turkmenhimiya”). In addition, in-the-foreign-currency contracts were concluded for purchasing cottonseed oil, cotton yarn, and regenerated fiber. The country-buyers were: Russia, Great Britain, Turkey, Malta, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The sum total of transactions exceeded US $12,294 thousand US dollars. For deposit manat, representatives of business circles of Pakistan purchased cotton yarn (over 2,145 thousand manats). Domestic entrepreneurs contracted polypropylene (TRC) for the home market (189,000 manats).
