The XII International Exhibition of telecommunications, telemetry, information technology and broadcasting equipment ""Türkmentel-2019"" and scientific conference are held in Ashgabat. The forum is organized by the ""Türkmenaragatnaşyk"" Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. This year, more than 90 exhibitors demonstrate their capabilities and services – Turkmen communications units and foreign companies from Afghanistan, Belarus, the UK, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Spain, Kazakhstan, China, Monaco, the Netherlands, the UAE, Russia, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, France, Sweden, the Swiss Confederation. Government officials, the heads of ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, representatives of public organizations, universities, media attended the ""Türkmentel-2019"" opening ceremony. Spacious showrooms, supplied with modern video equipment, exhibition stands with huge monitors, light banners and panels, many samples of innovative products in the field of digital and video broadcasting, satellite, mobile and electronic communications, audio and video recording and monitoring, weather forecasting, cable products and components vividly demonstrate the outstanding achievements of the national industry of telecommunications and information technologies. Among the foreign participants are long-time partners of our country, the leaders in the sphere of communication and information technologies - Thales Alenia Space, Nokia, HUAWEI, Samsung, Apple, Sony, DHL, Cisco, Space Systems International Monaco, etc. The digital systems included into the network infrastructure are an important factor in the progress of society and a way to improve the efficiency of various sectors of the economic complex. In this context, one of the main sectors of the national economy of Turkmenistan should be the information market that has a significant impact on the development of other spheres and macroeconomic processes in general. In this regard, the launch of a Single portal of public services, the presentation of which took place during the first day of the exhibition ""Türkmentel-2019"" in Ashgabat, became a landmark event. This portal e.gov.tm represents an automated information system ‘one-window’ for the provision of public services in electronic form for citizens and businesses. In our country, special attention is paid to the provision of new services that is vividly demonstrated by the stands of the post offices of the ""Turkmenpost"" company. Today, there are about 150 branches of this company in Turkmenistan. It is planned to introduce a door-to-door express delivery service that will provide the opportunity to send parcels without contacting the company's branches. A large area was occupied by expositions dedicated to international cooperation. Turkmenistan represented by the ""Türkmenaragatnaşyk"" Agency is a full member of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications (RCC). The exhibition ""Turkmentel-2019"" is focused, first of all, on the most popular information technologies today. The pavilion reflecting the achievements in the field of the most advanced systems of wire line telephone was very popular among the visitors. The theme of renewable energy in the field of telecommunications was also reflected in the exhibition. Turkmen communicators demonstrated the models of solar panels, generating devices, small telephone stations and other equipment, effective in operation in remote and a hard to access areas. The expositions of the ""Türkmenawtoulaglary"", ""Türkmendemirýollary"", ""Türkmenhowaýollary"", ""Türkmendeňizderýaýollary"" agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Communications tell about the development of the transport sector. Domestic entrepreneurs, successfully expanding the market of high technologies, provide effective channels of direct supplies of various equipment to enterprises and institutions of the industry. Among them are such business structures as ""Beyik Yüpek yoly"", ""Asman oki"", ""Türkmen hemrasy"", ""TehnoMarket"", ""Türkmentehnogurlusyk"", etc. The key event of the business programme was the scientific conference ""Turkmenistan and world information and telecommunication systems"". Leading experts, heads of the systems of communication and transport sphere made their proposals during the conference. Forum participants, including representatives of foreign companies ""Airbus Defence and Space"", ""SSI Monaco"" ""Rohde&Schwarz"", ""NTT DATA Romania"", ""Nokia Solutions and Networks"" will not only get information about the status and the prospects of development of the key areas of communication, but also will be able to exchange views on such issues as satellite communications technologies and software products, the digitalization, cybersecurity, and to identify the ways of further cooperation and investment opportunities.
