Information market is to become of the main section of Turkmenistan’s economy, operation of which will make significant impact of development of other spheres and macroeconomic processes in general. In this aspect, launching of unified portal of the Government services and operations, which presentation has been held under international exhibition Türkmentel 2019, was a remarkable event. This portal (e.gov.tm) presents automatic single ‘window’ information system for provision of the government services in electronic format for citizens and business. ‘Single window’ principle allows implementing centralized reception of the documents from applicant for provision of services as well as providing control of the time for preparation of the document and their issuance. As of today, authorized use is able to pay internet bills, stationary and mobile phone, IP television, railway and air tickets and other services by bank card at official web portal of the government services. In the future, the list of services will be expanded by types and section. The list will include such spheres as information, communication and advertisement. Educational, cultural and health protection spheres will be represented by separate sections. The portal will provide an opportunity to address the issue of application for passports, registrations, visas, driving licences, pensions and allowance, taxes, employment and many other - from entrepreneurship activity to social aspects. Two versions of the website in Turkmen and Russian language are provided for the convenience of the visitors.
