I wish you good health, well-being of further success in your work”, says President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his congratulatory address. “The oil and gas industry is one of the basic sectors of the national economy. In recent years, in frames of our industrial development strategy, we have implemented many large-scale oil and gas projects: the construction of the East-West gas pipeline, commissioning of a gas-chemical complex on the production of polyethylene and polypropylene in Kiyanly, commissioning of the first plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in the world in the Ahal region among others. “We implement the important for the region and neighboring countries project on the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, which will offer a powerful impetus to economic progress, will contribute to the solution of social and humanitarian issues, the establishment of peace and stability in the region. “We implemented the projects on the diversification of the oil and gas complex and increase of its production potential through the establishment of a modern infrastructure. We will continue this work in the future. “In the nearest future, we are planning to build a number of gas chemical complexes and plants that will accelerate the complex diversification of the industry, widening the opportunities for increasing the range and volumes of oil and gas products. “Today, in the age of advanced technologies and science, the consumption of crude oil and petroleum products significantly grows, and therefore we pay special attention to the development of the petrochemical industry, which, along with the efficient use of rich hydrocarbon reserves and increase of the volume of processing and export of energy resources, is our main goal. That is vividly proved by the world-class products manufactured at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. In general, all this reflects the successful implementation of the strategy for the diversification of the national economy. “The Program for the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan till 2030 and the Programme for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025” provide for the adoption of the necessary measures to further increase production capacities, which is closely related to ensuring energy security and sustainable economic development of the country in global and regional scales. To ensure this, it is important to efficiently work in oil and gas fields using innovative digital technologies. “I believe that the hardworking oil and gas workers and geologists of Turkmenistan will cope with all the tasks set to them”, said the President of Turkmenistan in his congratulatory address.
