Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency to be an authorized body for development of digital economy

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, according to which Interdepartmental Commission for development of digital economy in Turkmenistan has been established and its Provision and composition has been approved. According to the document, Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communication is defined to be an authorized body for development of digital economy in Turkmenistan. In this regard, the Head of the State noted at the session of the Government on January 10 that Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communication makes important part of work for promotion of digitization and provides operation of intellectual networks, including elaboration of legal support for regulation and expansion of national network space and spectrum of internet services. It was highlighted that it is necessary to develop advanced practice targeting at establishment of won digital model, which is based not only on import of ready solutions but also on own scientific and technological potential.
