Production of textile industry is leading by number of export transactions at the exchange trades

49 transactions have been registered at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. Cotton yarn and fabrics, colourless sheet glass have been sold for foreign currency to brokers from United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Total amount of transactions has exceeded 1,266,000 US dollars. For local currency, businessmen from Great Britain, UAE, China and Pakistan have bought cotton yarn to total amount of more than 4,528,000 manats. For internal market, Turkmen entrepreneurs have procured high-density polyethylene (SC Türkmengaz) and carpet production. Total amount of transaction exceeded 59 million manats.
