President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the green areas laid in the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains and, at the request of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E.Orazgeldiyev, who is in charge for the agricultural sector, got acquainted with the species of seedlings to be planted in frames of the planting campaign. Riding the Akhalteke horse - Shapolat, the President inspected the man-made woodlands at the foothills of the mountains. The comprehensive planting strategy, implemented in the country, contributes to ensuring the optimal ecological environment. Deputy Prime Minister E. Orazgeldiyev demonstrated the seedlings to be planted taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of each region. Among them are the varieties of shade, coniferous and fruit trees, poplars. Speaking about the importance of taking a comprehensive approach to the work on expanding ""green belt"" in the country, the Head of state noted that the participation of the population in the planting campaign was considered as a noble work that had become a good tradition. Focusing on the peculiarities of seedlings, the President noted that poplars had proved themselves to be good at creating green areas. It was emphasized that taking into account natural and climatic conditions, it would be reasonable to plant poplars. In this context, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the planting campaign should be carried out in accordance with the established traditions, accompanied by folk legends, musical performances that will brighten the campaign. Specifying that the forthcoming planting campaign should be carried out at the high organizational level, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions to Deputy Prime Minister in this regard. Then, at the request of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdilyev, who is in charge of the construction complex, the Turkmen leader got acquainted with the progress of construction works in the south of the capital. Inspecting the progress of construction of the Halk Maslahaty building complex, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to pay special attention to ensuring high quality and design of the buildings’ exterior, using local construction materials efficiently. Then, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the progress of construction of the International Congress Centre along Chandybil Avenue. The Head of State also underlined the importance to meet the construction completion date and use the best features of traditional national architecture and the leading trends in global urban planning. The President of Turkmenistan emphasized that given that in recent years Ashgabat had become a venue for regular major forums of regional and global level, the facilities erected in the Turkmen capital should satisfy the high international standards. The President of Turkmenistan visited another new building under construction, the Reception Centre of Turkmenistan. After inspecting the works carried out there, the President noted that the centre would host important international events, therefore the special attention should be paid to equipping and decorating the buildings. Noting that the works at these facilities are carried out at slow paces, the Turkmen leader instructed the relevant officials to take necessary measures to accelerate the works. Wishing the Deputy Prime Minister success in solving the tasks, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left the venue.
