Number of projects of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization has been presented at video conference session in the Ministry of Textile Industry. It was mentioned that at present, the industry implements large-scale objectives for growth of import substitutive production, formation of new, high technology complexes, opening of processing facilities producing various and competitive commodity based on efficient use of local material resources. Having stated with delight fruitful character of cooperation between UNIDO and government structures of our country, especially in textile and carpet industries, participants of online meeting discussed opportunities of realization of joint investment projects. Open door policy and favourable market for business in Turkmenistan open wide perspectives for making of production with high added value and its export. At the same time, maximum involvement of potential of this sector taking into account internal demands and requirements of the world market together with the growth of financial and economic indicators will support to improvement of competiveness of textile industry and carpet production of the country.
