IMF report on development of economies of Central Asia and Caucasus countries presented in Ashgabat

“Perspectives of Development of Regional Economy” for Central Asia and Caucasus (PDRE for CCA) is a subject of online presentation of International Monetary Fund, which was held in the Ministry of Finances and Economy. It was mentioned during video conference that strengthening of beneficial partnership between the states of the planet has received bigger currency and importance under conditions of the situation in global space.in this process, an important role is given to the leading financial structures, especially the IMF. The main tendencies have been analysed as well as perspectives of development of economies of Central Asian and Caucasus countries have been reviewed in presented review. It was highlighted in the report that taking into account the changes of growth assessment this year, the IMF works with international and regional financial structures to take rrapid relative practical measures in this direction. Measures for mitigation of COVID-19 impact on national economies and strengthening of stability in the countries were the subjects of discussion. It was mentioned that Turkmenistan carries out large-scale activity for minimization of negative impact of global crisis on development of the economy of the state. These measures are to provide positive indicators in all sections of national economy.
